I could not imagine "KaviGyana" to mean a poet..."KaviGnyana" or "KaviNYana" might have been better I feel.
"Kkareya araCHuva aley" sounds real poetic...awesome...but I could not relate it with the first line icon_sad.gif

Let me try the same in Badugu...
"KaviGyana" atheMBuDHuna enNaley "poet" athenDhu YosichoDhuga MudiVilae....."KaviGnyana"-vo ilLaDhale "KaviNYana"-vo olLange atTu HutTara athenDhu NenaChiNae.

"Kkareya araCHuva aley" atheMBuDhu SoakKa adaDhey...AaLey aDhuGa
MunDhey ado line-KoDa SaethoDhuga MudiVilay.

Appara sanDhosa Hari (thumba sanThosa kaNe icon_wink.gif ) icon_smile.gif

Santhosh…it was modified and thanks for the suggestion as well. icon_smile.gif

Hope…it would be possible for you to correlate the second line with that of first one after reading the following plausible explanation.

marava BHoomi – neley illaDHa enna oDambu
sosiDha maney – avana thavira (or avana nenappu thavira) bHerey DHaarugu eaDey illaDHaa enna heart-u.

Aaga.., neley-illaDHha enna ee oDambuna aduva, ninna thavira/ ninna nenappa thavira bHerey DHaarugu eaDey illaDHa enna nenjunogey (heart-sorry badugu word naa aribiley icon_wink.gif ) enna ratTHa-koda saeDHa (mixed with blood) ninna nenappu Kkareya araChuva aley maakKey aley moDHinDadaDHey embhaDHutha adDHuna artha.

Note: here “human body” and “heart” are compared with the “earth” and “home/house”, respectively.

OK Ram,

I put it for u in BenGaLooru Bashey...ThumBa sakkaThaaGi iDhey! icon_biggrin.gif

Oh yes, I personally prefer "ThumBa" for "APPara". "ThumBa" gives a sense of belonging, isnt it so...

Hari,
You are right.....Thumba sounds really full(i.e. fulfilling) than appara...
but there seems to be a minor obvious difference in their meanings...
"Naa ApPaRa KOo THinDhae...AlaE OttAe ThumBa ThimBilae" icon_rolleyes.gif

Rams,
Nice explanation and haiku....but I had misunderstood the word "araChuva"....and from the misunderstood word, here is another...

Ava InnU KaraeThaa....Naa InnU AlaeThaa,
AaLae alAe IniMaeLae KaraYa AriCheenDae IDHaRa.
AvaNa MadhuVae InDhu.

Santhosh…..it seems end of first line is better place for the word AaLae instead of first at second line… icon_smile.gif

Ava InnU KaraeThaa; Naa InnU AlaeThaa – AaLae
alAe IniMaeLae KaraYa AriCheenDae IDHaRa.
AvaNa MadhuVae InDhu.

Eanu swomi hari…solpa science-u olagadey iruothara kaanthaayidhey…allvaa mathey icon_wink.gif ??

Both the haiku-s are excellent indeed icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif .
