This is cunning political move by the Government to marginalise the Badaga Community which is growing in leaps and bounds. Needs to be curbed at any cost, the white elephant of regional politics is playing its dirty move without understanding the demographics of the district where Badagas are a wholesome majority and are in BC category. Reminds me of the Mandal Commission and aftermath.

The original inhabitants like the Todas, Kotas, Kurumas and Paniyas (Our Brethren) who are in the ST status are just a handful population to make any significant move to be elected in a reserved constituency.

The ploy is to bring in SAKKILIGAS within the district to positions of power who can demolish the Heritage of this great land groomed by Lord Sullivan and make it rot like just another South TN / Bihar / UP constituency.

These Mercedes Beggars will never change. MORONS.

HAIL HETTHAIAMMA!

We all elected our MLA and MP to do some good things to the our District and People. But these two palpitations are not doing anything to our community, just attending functions and party.

Do we need these kinds of MLA and MP in the future? Why canít our community first Minister oppose this decision and resign his MLA?

Last seen the picture of ' Quary' for stone braeking at Ebbanadu . Mr Karunananidhi made 1st Misnister of Badaga Community to loot Nilgiri. Poor Badaga boys are hired as Drivers and Conductors for the past 8 years as casual Labours and now squeezed to pay 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 lakhs to get Driver/ Conductor Job . let us make Mr Ramachandran - Kadhi Minister Realize this

To
The Honorable President of India,
New Delhi,
India.

Respected Madam,

Sub: Nilgiris as Reserved Constituency.

The Uni-lateral decision of the De-limitation committee to declare the Nilgiris as reserved constituency can not be accepted by the predominant BADAGA COMMUNITY OF NILGIRIS in Tamil Nadu. All section of the Badaga community with in the Nilgiris & various parts of the world urge the Central Government to reconsider the decision immediately.

Thanking you

Hi All
The Leaders of our YBA and Nakkubetta, along with COVAI NAKKUBETTA NALA SASNGAM (Covai Badagar Sangam), Represented the Constituency Reforming Committe, with the leader ship of Honerable Justice Guldeep Singh, some days back, put Our Views very strongly, when the committe came to Coimbatore to hear the Views from the public. We people around 50 in numbers attended this meeting.

Our Nakkubetta Leader Sri Iyaroo represented with strong points, followed by some of our YBA Leaders and our sitting MLA Sri B Gopalan.

Honerable Chairman, Justice Guldeep Singh seemed almost came to a conclution not to make our Nilgiries a Reserved Constituency.

This was seen in the Proposed Final list, which was published in 'DINAMALAR', some 15 days back.

But something happened in the middle, a play of regional politics, our Nilgiirs was made as a Reserve Constituency.

WHO PLAYED THIS NASTY GAME?

Dear Shri Bellie [ LIC ] & Honourable Badaga members,

Without minching words, it is sure that the current Govt of TN & Local elected members made this transaction .i.e selling Nilgiris for pecuniary benefits a la take over by Britishers of India. The currect selling is no way different from East India Company entering.

It is time the badaga's represent so that the elected members do the job they are intended. Let us all raise to the occasion so that the souverignity of the Nilgiris & hence of Badagas is restored.
